Why is my truck acting like its running out of gas once it is at constant speed?

1995 chev. s10 pickup 4 cyl. gets vapor lock in tank, feels like no gas but lines, filter and pump changed in fuel line, still running bad. once up to speed it starts to pull, like just getting shots of gas not a continuous stream

Maybe your fuel injecter is plugging up with dirt, or one of the injecters are going bad

Jag Stype 6 cyl. getting restricted performance and car feels powerless when this light comes on.

Your picture of the light didn't seem to come through. Several things will cause restricted power.... a dragging emergency break, a plugged fuel filter, plugged air filter, plugged exhaust pipe and finally check all the fluid levels in the motor as some cars have a limp mode if a level is too low, especially on the oil side.... also make sure the gas cap is tight... a lot of viechle will act up if the vapor return line doesn't have the proper pressure in the gas tank. Next would be wires and plugs, distributer cap and distributer button... spark plugs can run fine at low rpm but foul at higher rpm.

There may be more specific solutions along shortly, but my older car had similar problems until I changed the ignition module. The "spark box" as it was nicknamed. My car was a mustang, but it only seemed to act up on hot days, and if I just pulled over and allowed the car to cool for a bit it would go again just fine. I'm not familiar with Nissan trucks specifically, but it's another place to consider. Good luck!

Have chevy s10 4 cyl. 2.5 pickup. For some reason it is using gas. I get 4 miles to a gallon. Can smell raw gas when standing behind it.

well you leaking gas either from your fuel pump tank float assembly inside the tankand gasket is bad that seals the fuel in or possibly a bad fuel neck aka filler tube also check your fuel lines and make sure all clamps are tight

'98 S10 4 cyl. 5 speed: Sudden high idle, now surges.

Go to your local shucks or auto zone and they can check any codes behind your check engine light and it's free. It sounds like one of two things a O2 sensor or your mass airflow sensor but they will tell you for sure

My beretta wont start after I buy gas or it acts like its going to quit once i do get it started. It seems to run ok once i finally get it started. it only seems to act this way each time i buy gas.

check for water in the tank...When adding fuel it gets stirred up and enters the system. There is space beneath the fuel pickup that allows contamination to remain there. Eventually it will get to a point that it becomes critical or rusts tank from the inside. Check inside filter, pour contents into a glass jar. If you find any water drop tank and clean.
