May bmw 318tds 1989 wont start - 1997 BMW 318

The starter is located underneath the intake manifold. It is replaced from the bottom of the car.

Have not done a BMW but have done plenty of others. Look to Auto Zone for info for removal and installation for your model. It will save you a headache.

what can i do for a bmw 318 tds 1995

if this is the 1.6 version then at this year its no doubt worn out ,well known for wearing out and burning oil .

BMW recommends that the timing belt be changed every second Inspection ii, or every 4 years on cars that have low mileage. Most of the rest of the industry has timing belt changing intervals ranging from 40,000 miles to 60,000 miles. It is better to change the belt at a lower mileage than at a higher number.
The timing belt must be replaced every time the belt tensioner is loosened. Do not reinstall a used belt. Reusing a timing belt, even one with low mileage, is not worth the chance of having a belt break and damaging the engine.

this can be adpative lights which is a special feature order on this vehicle

Fuel pressure regulator, Happens once and a while. Replace it and the fuel will hold pressure again.

Check the solenoid on the starter motor - it makes a clicking sound both when the battery's low and when the solenoid's bad.

full oil change??well if its what i think it is then its a dealer only ,oil level sensor detected no oil and its cut in a fail safe system that can only be released by the dealer .but i could be completely wrong

i have a 1995 bmw 318tds compact that when i try to start it will not turn over i have changed the glow plugs they heat up but there is no power going to them dose anyone no the answer
