Pontiac g6 drivers seat not working properly
First verify everything else in car is working electrically speaking, especially other power seats and cigarette lighter / power plug and power mirrors.
First check power seat fuse.
If all good check power seat switch for a good 12 vt positve AND a good ground at the switch using an Ohm meter.
NEVER USE A TEST LIGHT IN YOUR VEHICLE AS YOU WILL HAVE A GOOD CHANCE OF BLOWING UP AN AIRBAG. And they will cost you plenty of money to replace.
If you have power to the seat switch and if everything is working except seat motors unbolt the seat and check to see if the connectors from vehicle to the seat are tight and have not come unplugged. While you are there also check power at the seat motor and work backwards to power source.
Check power seat module, visually for water/rust on casing.
If this vehicle has had a water leak that ended up under seat the module could be fried.
Hope this has helped, most likely it it a switch gone bad.
Good Luck!
