SOURCE: On the 2000 jaguar s-type, what is, Cats system

Cats was a optional extra from the factory. It is adaptive damping. It basicialy softens or stiffens the shock absorbers to your driving style.

It may seem that one of your shock absorbers has developed a internal pressure fault. A local garage with a code reader can tell you wich shock absorber to check. Would be worth checking the electrical connectors that plug into the top of the shock absorber to make sure they are not damaged.

Look's like you may need a new shock absorber

The wipers are not working on a jaguar s type

Check fuse for wiper motor. This earlier model had problems with the wiper shafts corroding and being very stiff to move so causing the wiper motor to overload / blow fuse / burnout. Apply some light oil to the shafts if this is the cause of your problem and the motor is still okay. good luck - hope this helps

Wipers won't work. No power to motor. Not the fuse.

You have not mentioned the control relay - check this out first - look in your handbook for location - seem to remember there is one relay for the delay/time/park wiper control in the fuse box in the engine bay, try swapping this relay for same type used on other function (horn?) hope this helps - good luck.
