2000 Sunfire, starts then stalls after replacing F.P., timing chain guides and PCM

I have recently repaired the fuel pump and PCM in addition to vacuum and tune ups and timing chain guide. Car starts then stalls. A friend and my 3 sense tells me the IAC could be stuck allowing excessive air leaning out the rich start mixture. But it sounds too good. Passlock security?? I also believe the light bulb for security hath been removed

SOURCE: 2001 Pontiac Sunfire Fuel Problem

Are you certain that the engine is getting fuel? If not, then you will have to verify that there isn't any blockage in the fuel system to prevent the fuel from reaching the engine. If fuel is reaching the engine, try the following
1. Check compression values for each cylinder.

2. Inspect electrical circuitry in the distributor assembly (slack wires, broken wires, dmaged rotor etc)

3. Check to see if the timing belt was not severed. This belt transmits the drive from the crankshaft to the camshaft. If the belt ius severed, the camshaft cannot rotate in order to open the valves

SOURCE: Security light flashing and not allowing start of car. Passlock problem.

It is your locks. I would just disconnect them and lock the car manually. Its a common problem on most GM cars cause water got in an rusted the auto lock motor cause them to send the wrong signal to the computer.

2000 Lincoln navigator will not start

Presumably you disconnected the battery when you did the fuel pump and PCM? It also looks like the PCM has to be programmed with the VIN Number.

To reset the 2000 lincoln navigator anti-theft system press and hold any button on your remote within 20 seconds of the eighth turn. Hold the button for as long as 20 seconds until the locks automatically click and release. Remove the key from the ignition to stop the reset cycle.

Did you just replace the PCM without having it programmed ? Who replaced the PCM ? you ?
PCM Re-Programming
The replacement PCM must be reprogrammed and the crankshaft position system variation procedure must be performed. Refer to the latest Techline information on PCM re-programming and this section for the Crankshaft Position System Variation Procedure.

Hello and welcome to FixYa!
I'm suspecting that the PCM (power train control module) is faulty. If the PCM is faulty the electrical fails at any given time. The PCM is like a car's brain, I strongly suggest that you have it replaced as a first course of action.
Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa! Have a good one!

My 98 sunfire starts then stalls after 2 minutes then every time i start it it stalls sooner i replaced the fuel pump and filter no codes are showing any ideas

This is most likely your crank position sensor.... it sits behind your harmonic balancer and tells the PCM what position the crank shaft is at at all times. These sensors aare around 30 dollars at a local parts shop but you will need a pulley puller and a good impact wrench to remove the balancer

Last week my 2000 olds alero stalled when i came to a stop. Then my anilock brake, service vehical, and trac light came on. Changed fuel filter and fuel pump. It does it again today!!! Please help.

None of those lights having anything to do with stalling or fuel filter or fuel pump.
As for the ABS, etc, this is likely due to the wheel speed sensors not reporting properly. While one or more of them could be bad (wheel hub replacement), these circuits are notorious for poor connections, corrosion, or bad wiring due to age.
The wheels speed sensors can be tested before replacing. Start with getting the ABS codes scanned. This will tell you which sensors are having problems.
Before any of this, you should look at the other engine codes and address the stalling, etc first. Scanning the engine and looking at air flow, fuel trim, etc will guide you to the next step. Have you changed the air filter recently?
