A coolant leak that leaves a small puddle but I don't know where the leak is coming from what and where could it be
Well section off the car on flat ground let idle until leak leaves signs on the ground in front on the wheels hoses, radiator, on right side of car near rear heater hoses waterpump on drivers side hoses engine gaskets.
If its a small leak you can get by carrying extra coolant and keeping and eye on it ( remember the gauge only works if coolant is in the system!)
the only way of finding the source of the leak is the hard way, start by removing slash shields, and peripheral plastic engine covers, start the vehicle and allow it to reach operating temperature then with a flash light inspect hoses, water pump, heater core lines, over flow tank ect. be careful to stay away from moving components such ad electric fans, or serpentine belts. in models equipped with aluminum radiators with plastic tanks the crimp weld is problematic and known to leak in older models

The cooling fans will not come on until 225 degrees. Normal temp is around 199-215. Sitting still in traffic most will inch up around 220 or so. When you turn ac on it turns the fans on and may cool down engine, Check fan operation.

On my car, which is the same as yours, it is located on the manifold top back left. Pictures in the book just show it on top.

First, provided their are no visible coolant leaks and/or loss of coolant with no signs of leaks, I would thoroughly flush cooling system and replace coolant, then check and/or replace thermostat (you can place thermostat in boiling water to check for proper function), if you have tried these 2 steps and still are experiencing overheating you may need to replace your water pump which can be a tricky job if you're unfamiliar and try to do it yourself, however, I could walk you through it if necessary. Also visually check your radiator hoses for bulges, wear ,etc along with heater hoses etc. You may want to also check radiator fins to see if they are dirty/obstructed and clean if necessary. Let me know if I can assist you further and how it works out
