How to remove the radio from a 2010 vw jetta?

Some cars allow power to the radio, etc. even after the key is turned off and taken out of the ignition. If everything turns off when the door opens, then it is most likely normal for your car. I know the newer VW Jetta's do this.

Fuse number 42 is for the radio reset. Pull it out and put it back in. It's a warranty problem, expired now no doubt.

Support the engine as the bolts go through the front motor mounts, disconnect battery (have radio cde if ness) diconnect starter wres, remov bolts> Install is reverse.

sounds like your good olld blapunkt internal fuse is cooked
pull the radio out and look to see if there is a fuse behind the radio

yo need radio keys get from volkwagon dealer or radio shack 4 slots in radio fit keys and push one side pops radio out ,took me a while to figure it out too. goodluck
