The engine wiring harness is notorious to fail on the 320 engine. There was not enough heat shield used and this problem is common. You will likely need a new harness. You can buy them for about half as much on e-bay as you can from Mercedes but you must know the exact part number from your existing harness. I would highly recommend buying a new harness over a used one but this is your call. They unplug completely as the harness wraps around the motor.

must remove the blower motor and you can see electronic blower regulated fitted in to the motor housing.

Call your local Mercedes-Benz dealer and give them the radio serial number located on the back of the radio. They will give you the radio code for your radio. Hope that helps.

The blower motor is on the passanger side lift the hood and there is a long black plastic cover the same length as the windshield, remove that and you will see it, labor time is about 1 hour or around $125.00, the part in the aftermarket is around $150.00, $250-$300 should do the job, a hint don't buy the motor from the dealer, 5X's as much as the aftermarket part, check ebay to.

That hapend to me and it was the com on the motor and they can't be repaird you have to replace the motor, from Mercedes they are very expensive, I got a copy motor for mine brand new off ebay for £50
