There is no high pressure to fill AC SYSTEM only on the low side on pass side near washer tank and charge only to 35psi and as far as the back door lock it is most likely the ACUATOR

Just find the AC lines marked H and L DO NOT TOUCH THE H. L stands for low pressure, unscrew cap and fill it with the ac kit from Wall mart or an auto store.

try taking the door panel off to see if the lock engages.

1995 wind star min van blowe cool in rear and hot air in front plenty freeon fues are good

I would check the blend door actuator. If the door is open all the way, one direction, the air blows over the heater core. All the way in the other direction, the air blows over the evaporator. Anywhere in between, a blend of hot and cold for temp control. That explanation is a little simplistic. the info is for ford windstar.

Why does my ac compressor come on when I turn my heat on?

If the defroster is on it will use the air conditioner to pull moisture out of the air before it blows it back on your glass. Prevents condensation. Try turning your heat to just floor or front vents and it see if it still kicks on.

Air conditioner is not cold; everytime I turn it on, it blows hot air. I think it needs freeon. how do I re-fill it?

Assuming you have R134a, you can purchase a can or two of refrigerant most anywhere... Parts stores, Walmart, most anywhere...

There is only one nozzle this fits. It is sticking up off a large diameter pipe coming from your air conditioning compressor (on the engine) going to the accumulator (drier) located near the back corner at the firewall

If your in doubt, you can always pull into a local shop and simply ask them to point it out for you. There are refrigerants which come from a filling tube which has a PSI guage on it, so that you can easily fill it to the proper level that you need.

If the nearest Napa, Shucks, oreilys or Autozone is too far away, Just go browse the automotive section of your local store, Walmart, Kmart even Walgreens and Rite Aids have these. an 18 oz can is about 18 dollars with the guage

Hope you find this helpful

Air conditioner quit working

first thing to check is loss of gas pressure due to leaks , this is the most common failure.

if gas is good then could be a number if things , compressor , climate controller unit , bad wiring or connections somewhere.

2001 Hyundai Sonata 4cyl. Air conditioner worked irratically. Serpentine belt broke and was replaced. A/C started working again, then began only blowing cool air at higher speeds. Now does not blow cool...

Check the AC magnetic clutch relay, it may be sticking open. Bypass it (located under the hood) and see if the system cools down, if not you have other problems.

AIR DOES NOT WORK DO I JUST NEED FREEON

If the air conditioner blow warm air,

1. Open the hood and check the fan belt first, sometime the fan belt broke caused the compressor stop to work, if the fan belt is good, check the compressor see if the center part turns, if turns, that means the compressor is o.k.

2. If both work fine, check the air conditioner small window see if there is bubble, if you see some bubbles in the small round window, that’s means your air conditioner lack
R-22 Freon.

3. before you fill up the Freon, check the leaking, if leaks, fix it and then fill up the Freon, the best way is to ask some professional auto air conditioner repair shop to help you.

Hope this can help you.
