My Toyota Corolla 1.6 XLI 1993 won`t start. When I open the door the alarm goes off but without any sound. After a while the indicators stops blinking, then I try to start it again, but it doesn't even react. What can I do to make it start again?

I'd start by reprogramming your alarm. You'll never get it to crank without first disabling it or removing it. Your owners manual will give detailed instructions as to how to do this.

SOURCE: My car alarm is blinking

you can try switching the key to the "on" position then open the hood and disconnect the negative terminal of the battery and reconnect after 2minutes. this will allow the alarm to be '"reset" and will recognize that you have the key for the vehicle.

SOURCE: the open door warning light indicator does not go off .

There is a problem with the door switch the door is not pushing the switch in completely. Here is what you do close all the doors, then you open them one at a time with all the other still closed. start with the drivers door. open and look for the pin with that the door touches when you close its on the bottom close to the back of the driver's seat it has a black rubber covering it. Press with your thumb in and see if light goes out. Check all other doors in the same way you will see which door switch is not being pressed in completely when door closes. If you find it a quick fix is to pad the area on the door that makes contact with the switch to push it in, for example you can use one of those round sticky cushions that you use on the metal chair legs to prevent them from scratching your wood floor. However if you can solve the problem in this way you may have to take it to electrical mechanic or I will be able to provide more help. contact me and leave me a feedback. Good LUCK

SOURCE: 2005 Toyota Corolla Car Alarm Problem

you may have to disconnect the battery for a minute or so ,this will reset the alarm. check your remote it does have a battery in it. otherwise you have to look for a fuse somewhere under the dash close to the fuse box.each one is diff. depending if it original toyota or aftermarket alarm.

I have a 2007 Toyota Corolla type S. My problem is that when I press the unlock button on my remote the doors unlock and the lights flash however when you open the door the alarm sounds. It has been...

This sounds like a bad alarm module, the doors unlock but the alarm doesnt shut down, so it wont let you start it because its not shutting down, the light flash and door unlock put starter disable and horn stay active, most good alarms have liftime module warranties, if you take it back to who installed it and ask them or if it was already in the car when you bought it then you will need to disable or replace it. hope this helps, also to disable it just trun key on then open a open try key off and within 10 sec push the button under the dash its a small red button this will put it in vallet mode.
