It can be the fuel or engine settings. If the RPM drops considerably when you let go of the gas (less than 900 - 1000 RPM), the fuel might be the problem. I had the same problem with my 2012 Ford Focus Mark II and my 2011 Ford Ranger XLS (gasoline version). My suggestion is that you let the tank get almost empty (less than 1/4) and then put high-octane fuel (you don't need to fill the tank, just about enough to drive and test the car's behaviour). Personally, when I did this, the car's engine RPM didn't drop below 900 RPM and the response was much quicker.

My 2005 ford f 250 superduty 6.0 gas light came on fulled up with diesel truck starter right up left parking lot then died will not start

every possibility that when the light came on you picked up air ( fuel momentarily was not around the pick up line as you went around a corner) and now there is air that needs to be bled out of the fuel system/ pump

Starts but dies if you let of the gas also smells gas

Most likely a bad ignition module in that era, need a 5.5mm thin wall socket to replace it. Can also be Pick-up in Distributor going bad.

How do I drain the fuel out of the gas tank on a 2005 Ford-150 Pick-up?

The only way ive been able to drain the gas out of out of the my 04 is to drop the tank and drain it that way. In the newer pickups thay make it so you cant put a hose down the fill line. Makes it hard to steal gas anymore.

I need the chilton's manual for my 2004 F150 truck so that i can see how to replace part number P0451, the evaporative emission system pressure sensor/switch range/performance part, i have tried many...

The fuel tank pressure sensor appears to be on top of gas tank. Have to drop the gas tank.
I don't know about Chilton? I did look at ebay.com for 04 ford f150 factory service manual, they had several. You can take a look, see if anything fits your pocket book?
You might be able to find Chilton, online, I don't know, I haven't looked?
There are several online databases that you can subscribe, alldata and Mitchel just to name a couple, for a small yearly fee, one vehicle. I don't remember the cost, at the moment?

I have a 95 mustang gt 5.0. The car was working fine until all of the sudden started to hesitate and died. I let it cool of for a while and started back up again. It feels like the fuel pump when back up...

You might have picked up some water in the gas some where. Put a can of Dri-gas or some other brand of fuel system cleaner/stabelizer. it should fix your problem.
