How to fix an acura 1989 battery draw

My acura legend will start but thes one problem. The battery dies in a day or 2 in the car out side the car its fine. we took a volt meter to the - on the car and the cable when the car is off. The meter was at 12v so something was making it draw power. We took all the aftermarket stuff off and took fuses off one by one still at 12v. My father and i are both stumped and have no clue what it could be.

It is a 12 volt battery, it should always read 12 v. What you need is to read amperage draw.

My 1989 acura overheated and now go thru alot of oil

There's not much you can do short of fixing the engine.
When it overheated, the metal in the cylinders may have warped, and the head gasket may have started leaking.
The oil is being burned thru the cylinders and out the tail pipe.

1989 acura legend will not crank over after replacing alternator and battery

May not have been the alternator , check the main relay module , may need to re solder the connections. Its under the dash on the left side
of the steering column , its a little hard to see and get out but the connections often burn through the solder and present problems such as this that mimic a fuel supply problem .

Electrical draw acura

Hi. Anything over about 300 milliamps is generally to high. illumi sounds like an abbreviation of illumination. with the fuse out try all your lighting, interior lights, dash lights ect. and see what doesn't work. a common problem is boot lights sticking on as they often cant be seen with the boot closed.

My 93 acura legend wont start. Ticking sound??

That sounds like a dead battery. The ticking sound is the relay (a type of switch) which enables power to the starter motor when you turn the key. If the battery is weak, the relay will click, but there is not enough power to turn the starter motor.
