I have a 2005 Nissan pathfinder

And I have always serviced at Nissan and on time, I have 80k miles on it, and the service engine light went on, I had it check fast at Auto zone and said it P0455 EVAP emission control system leak (large), what could it be? I check the gas cap and it was good. how much will it cost?

I just had the same issue with the same mileage as yours. Mine is the sending/sensing unit and it causes the range, distance to empty, etc. to be incorrect. The dealer is replacing for just under...$500. Another problem has been a whining sound under the hood, which they diagnosed as worn timing chain guides...cost to replace the guides is about $1,400. Not replacing results in the chain running on metal and chain wear, not to mention that whine. The service advisor said these two issues are the most common problems with Pathfinders. Good luck with your problems.

I 2005 nissan navara outlaw, there are 79500 miles on it, at how many miles does the timing chain need serviced or changed?

It is usually the timing chain tensioner that malfunctions. However if you have a timing BELT it should be replaced between 75-80k miles.

A chain driven system will typically outlast the engine itself if everything is in a good order.

However there was a recall on some frontier engine's timing parts, you may want to have your VIN checked at a local dealer to ensure your engine doesn't qualify for the TSB repair.

Engine Service Lights

Your vehicle’s computer system has self-testing capability. When the computer senses that there is a problem with one of the components or sensors it stores the correspondent trouble code(s) in its memory and lights up the "Check Engine" or "Service Engine Soon" light to tell you that there is a problem and you should have the car diagnosed and repaired. If you can tell me the code I can give you possible causes.

Engine noise

Sounds like a problem with the power valve actuator in the intake manifold collector. I would check with a Nissan dealer first and inquire of any recalls or service bulletins. Might save ya time & money.

Weired sound in engine arround 2100 rpm, pathfinder 2005

Take a look at Nissan Technical Service Bulletin NTB05-15b. Title = "Rattle Noise From Vias Power Valve Actuator / Intake Manifold Collector" This appears to describe your problem exactly. I have the same problem with my 2005 Xterra and I am going to try the recommended fix myself at home.
