Changed the battery on the alarm still will not work, so I just lock the door with key sometimes when I open or close the door the alarm will go off, I just let go off until it stops because I don't carry the alarm anymore, how can I turn off the alarm, may be the problem while the horn will not work anymore either.
Check all connections for corrosion and clean them with 4 O that's OOOO STEEL WOOL NOT A WIRE BRUSH SPRAY THEM WITH PB BLASTER next check or replace the key fob battery now it seems that the power loss deleted your fob and programming of the alarm so go back to programming the alarm also do the same for the horn contacts cleaning and spraying them and also check for broken wires and a blown fuse look up your alarm manufacturer or if installed from the factory get your owners manual or download it from nissan and you should be back in active mode again the electrical connections are exposed to the weather and inside the vehicle also are subject to corrosion and oxidation and most problems are from this and a good cleaning will bring them back to normal always make sure to not over spray or lubricate the connections because bridging will result just a little goes a long way whether spray or electrical grease//carbon conductive only// will do it with grease use a tooth pick and a dots worth with spray one quick shot then let excess run off and clean outside with alcohol the grease is the best to use it stays there for years and protects from corrosion and oxidation and there's less chance of bridging/// jumping the circuit in the plug from one pin to another so there ya go all is explained and good luck and go slow and cover your bases and you'll be happy in the end this also works on all engine sensors the same applies and you will increase your engine performance and immediately feel your gas pedal get harder because all voltage is at the desired levels remember your engine is powered by gas but it's electrically controlled by voltage operated sensors this will keep your ECM//PCM WHICHEVER THEY CALL IT //AKA ENGINE COMPUTER RUNNING YOUR ENGINE AT THE OPTIMUM PERFORMANCE LEVELS ==BETTER MILEAGE AND IN CASE YOUR WONDERING I'M A TAXI MECHANIC IN NYC WITH 50+ YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN ALL SYSTEMS SO THIS IS ACCURATE GOOD INFO YOUR GETTING AND POST BACK IF THERE'S STILL PROBLEMS I DON'T THINK SO BUT HEY CARS ARE MACHINES AND ANYTHING GOES JUST RECORD WHAT YOU DO ON PAPER THEN WE HAVE AN ELIMINATION CHECK LIST TO NARROW THINGS DOWN ONCE AGAIN GOOD LUCK AND GO SLOW AND ENJOY THE LEARNING PROCESS IT WILL PAY OFF OVER AND OVER AGAIN AND THAT GOES FOR EVERYBODY ELSE WHO COMES ACROSS THIS THREAD GREASE FOR PEACE STEPHEN

You need to first look under the drivers side dash area near the hood release/fuse panel area and see if there is a valet switch. The switch will look like a little toggle or a push switch. After you locate it, turn the ignition switch to the on position(dont start it) and flick the valet to the opposite position it is in now. If done correctly in most cases the red system light will stay a constant instead of off or blinking indicating you are in valet mode. Next try to start the engine. If this doesnt work you need to remove the alarm system and repair the ignition switch wiring or replace the electrical portion of the ignition switch. The aftermarket alarm cuts into the ignition switch wires and bypasses the start circuit through the alarm module. When disarmed the alarm completes the circuit and allows the car to start. Good luck hope this helps and please rate this.
SOURCE: My horn alarm is engaged and sets when I open the
LOL... MINE DID THAT ALSO ONE TIME THEN WE FIGURED OUT IF U REMOVE THE FUSE IT WONT START AND IF IT DOES IT WILL ONLY ALLOW U TO GO 20 MILES THEN IT SHUTS OFF!!! ITS A SECURITY FEATURE!!! SO IF IT EVER GOT STOLEN THE THEIF COULD ONLY GO 20 MILES UP THE ROAD!! I WOULD PUT THE FUSE BACK IN AND GO TO THE LOCAL NISSAN DEALERSHIP AND GET A NEW REMOTE!
