What type of clutch does 85 bmw 325E have

Need to replace the clutch in my bmw but i want to find out what do i have before anything there is a line that comes from the transmission that leads into the car where the clutch peddle is can anyone tell me?

are you changing the strut cartridge or the whole spring unit? if you are installing the whole unit, spring and all you will need no special tools, if not you will need a spring compressor

SOURCE: replace struts on a 1987 bmw 325e

YOU NEED TO REMOVE THE STRUT COMPLETELY USING COIL CLAMPS CLAMP THE SPRING AND REMOVE TOP PLATE UNDOO THE LARGE NUT ON THE STRUT ITSELF THEN PULL OUT THE INTERNAL SHOCK REPEAT THE PROCESS IN REVERSE FOR ASSEMBLEY

SOURCE: My 85 325e lurches forward when im in 3rd gear between 2000 and 3000 rpm, as if the clutch is slipping. anybody know whats goin on?

you may have a leak in the clutch slave

If you mean the biting point of the clutch is too high then the clutch needs replacing if it is slipping!

Engine keeps flooding itself, and wont start when warm

leaky fuel injectors or a bad fuel pressure regulator could be the cause. check the fuel pressure. should be 3.0 to 3.5 bar.
