SOURCE: water in fuel system of a Ford F250 diesel engine.

there is an additive at most auto parts stores and even some gas stations, i forget the name but if you read the bottle it will say something about removing water from the fuel system, they are generally located next to the "octane booster" or "fuel system cleaners"

SOURCE: what oil should i use for ford mondeo turbo diesel

5 litres of Ford SAE 5w -30w (Formula E ) ...available from Ford (or sometimes a lot cheaper off Ebay).

If you try and use anything else,( eg 10w-30 etc)  then the turbo does not like it and the running becomes slightly sluggish

Timing marks for a Ford Ranger 2.5 turbo diesel wl engine

Move everything counterclockwise - the triangle marks on the camshaft sprocket, diamond marks on the oil pump, and the circle on the crankshaft sprocket should all be lined up. Then loosen the adjuster bolt provided on the tensioner, and rotate the engine twice, clockwise. Now it should be realigned with the timing marks.

well the question is where did the coolant go. if it didnt leak out it must have went out the pipe. As you stated, white smoke, white smoke is coolant. You definately need to get this to the shop. You cannot drive it this way or further damage will occur.

2003 ford f350 6.0 diesel

The 6.0l diesel is noted for having oil and fuel enter the coolant system. If it is oil then the oil cooler has failed. The oil cooler is located the the center of the engine under the intake. On an F-series truck the oil cooler is below the oil filter housing. It can be identified by two things. The low oil pressure sensor and a small blue or orange hose is connected to the cooler. If it is fuel in the coolant then you have a cracked head or cracked injector sleeve.
