You need to get it looked at, get a vehicle diagnostic check done, you can buy the fault code reader off ebay for about £30 then its yours for future cars. Could be one of the o2 sensors failed which is making your car run lumpy which was the problem with my T4.
I suspect that you have air leak from air induction system. try to chek the breather hose. there are two hoses behind the intake manifold one is connected to valve cover to PCV , check the hose condition and replace it if necessary.
