There is a bulletin pertaining to a water leak in the cowl area causing the door electrical pins getting corroded, causing a multitude of electrical concerns. Go to your Hyundai dealer and ask for a copy of the bulletin. It will show you the locations that need to be sealed.

there is a short or a signal from the un-locking switch that is triggering your locks.
you have a switch manually to lock and un-lock your doors, the unlocking circuit is making contact.
you can try playing with your switch to un-short the switch or open it up ang check it.

You are correct in your assumption about a relay... there are two relays. One is for 'LOCKING' the other is for 'UN-LOCKING.' They are both labeled as "LOCK" relays (1 & 2). You can verify if a relay is bad by swapping one with the other. If the problem moves to 'unlocking' the doors, but will NOW LOCK - the relay is bad. If not, further troubleshooting is necessary.

the little metal rod that goes from the key part of the door lock to the electrical switch has come off ,no doubt the plastic clip that holds it has broken
Same thing happened with mine. It turned out that the
power door lock motor went out. Since the handle or the switch can unlock the
driver's door, both of these mechanisms are connected. When the door lock motor
goes out it freezes in whatever position, it was last engaged.
