SOURCE: i need the color codes for a 1993 Cadillac Seville

This should cover it but there are several different plug types so was unable to give you the right one for that and also what type of factory radio made a difference as far as the plug was concerned but the wire colors should be correct.

Constant 12V+ = Orange

Switched 12V+ = Yellow

Illumination = Gray

Ground = Black

Dimmer = Brown

Antenna Trigger = Pink

Left Front (+) = Tan

Left Front (-) = Gray

Right Front (+) = Light Green

Right Front (-) = Dark Green

Left Rear (+) = Brown

Left Rear (-) = Yellow

SOURCE: i have a 98 catera 3.0 motor had to change

The ECM probably needs to be flashed because it contains the VIN number and all the info on the engine. Good luck, I cannot find anyone that is able to flash mine, they say it's too old and no longer supported by ACDelco.

When I turn on the headlights of my 2004 F 250 the washer pump comes on and the right turn signal light lights up - Any ideas where to start?

Check for grounded wirings starting from fuse box. Trace each wire from the headlight fuse to the switch at
your steering wheel, then, the washer pump fuse to the
switch at the steering wheel and finally the right turn signal light to the switch at the steering wheel. Take
note that all terminates at the steering wheel. I believe
these wires are grounded to each other.

Dashboard wont light up

So, this is not a 2000 Hyundai Sonata? I used to own a 2000 Honda Civic and I believe those lights get power from a fuse inside the fuse/relay panel located on the driver's side under the dash. Check all your fuses. If all fuses are good, you've got a wiring problem - check for power & ground at each bulb. Obviously, if you don't have power to them, it's a power distribution/wiring issue. If you do have power to them but no ground, it's still a wiring issue.

89 Thunderbird, no tail lights

Having the same issue somewhat. Tail lights and dash lights quit. Checked the headlight switch wiring harness by looping all other prong holes back to the main power and they all work, so mine must be the switch. Having a real hard time finding a switch that matches the old one, even though they say it is a replacement. I paid the $25 at www.alldatadiy.com and they have quite a few wiring diagrams for the car.

1990 geo metro headlight problem

hmmmm sounds like you are on the right track with the ground . with as much current as headlights pull it is possible that the intermittent open you are experiencing has to do with heat coming from an open in the wiring . i believe your best bet would be to locate a wiring diagram for your cars headlight circuit and inspect every wire in that circuit as well as one surrounding for thing like : burn marks , corrosion , places where insulation has worn off or is no longer even there ( :) ) ,and i believe you may find something . also , some cars come with a set of relays specifically for the headlights . these the headlights may be drawing extra current through the relay causing it to switch off (means headlights are bad ) , or the relay itself may have worn out over time (relay (s) may be bad ). i hope this helps you
