P0452 Saturn Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor Circuit Low Voltage
"P0452 - Evaporative Emission Control System Pressure Sensor Low Input. Evaporative Emission Control System Pressure Sensor Low Input indicates a low voltage problem in the Fuel TankMy 2001 saturn is trying to turn over and start - icon1.png Pressure Sensor (FTPS). What the fuel FTP sensor does is convert fuel tank absolute pressure into electrical signals and inputs the signal to the ECM/PCM, (Computer).
First thing to do is make sure the gas cap is good and tightened properly. Then check the lines and wiring at the FTPS (Location-Fuel Tank) to be sure they are good, clean and tight.
Barring a wiringicon1.png problem it can be a bad FTPS or PCM.
"
I copied this blog on the code p0452. So, check gas cap, check vacuum lines from fuel tank and trace the lines making sure there is no break. check wire plug on the fuel tank pressure sensor.

SOURCE: Engine light on-trouble code P0452

EVAP fuel tank pressure sensor low output. It sounds like the charcoal -filled canister, it's near the gas tank in a cylinder shape. The canister may have cracks or a hose is leaking around the area and it will give a fault code of PO452. Are you smelling any odors or emission smell from the car?

SOURCE: My check engine light came

Probably nothing. These are EVAP leak codes. You have a fairly new vehicle so between that and the fact that the vast majority of EVAP leak codes are caused from gas gaps. Chances are last time it was fueled, the cap did not get placed on correctly or tightened enough. If your cap clicks when its tight, make it click 6 times before you close the fuel door. That is more than likely all that's wrong.Your fuel system (tank, lines, etc.) will pressurize itself periodically and it will monitor that pressure over time. It looks to make sure that the pressure remains constant indicating no leaks and when it releases the pressure it checks to make sure the pressure has in fact dropped. If your fuel cap is not sealed COMPLETELY, some of that pressure will escape through that cap. The EVAP system records this as a leak and will throw a check engine light. This light does not come on immediately after fueling, it may be a few days even depending on the drive cycles (how many starts, stops and distance of driving). They will usually clear themselves too after so many drive cycles of everything checking out normal, which again, can be a few days. Do not worry yourself though. Even if this code is not caused by the cap, it does not affect drivability or reliability. This will not leave you stranded on the side. This is one of those stupid government emission things.

Code p0452 on 2001 grand am 3.4 lit

P0452 The definition is evap pressure system low. This mean it detected a no pressure but rather a leak, There is nothing wrong with the pressure sensor or wiring itself,Fist thing to check is the gas cap, make sure the seals is good shape, The hose connection are firm and clamped down, you basically have a evap leak

I have a 2001 saturn sl. the car just turned off and the oil pressure light turned on. Now the car wont start and the light continues to stay on. the car has oil.

you are looking at two unrelated things. when the car died, the oil pressure dropped off causing the light to come on. this is normal. when the key is on but the engine is not running, there is no oil pressure so the light will be on. dont be concerned about the oil light and start diagnosing your no start.

Wont start. Also the domb light, locking switch,

You may have drained the battery by leaving a courtesy light on. Try recharging the battery and then check to make sure all courtesy lights in the car, glove box, trunk are all off. also , check the dimmer switch on the headlight switch that controls the brightness of the dash lights... it may have been left on too...
