Passenger side frame rail just before the fuel line heads up toward the engine/catalytic converter. Make sure car is cold.

SOURCE: i have 1991 Chrysler Lebaron

i called our local parts store and i was told the fuel filter is located on the passenger side of the car, past the back door, attached to the frame under the car! i was also told that the fuel pump access port is located under the back seat. we have had some really cold weather here in washington this past week and the parts person said that they have had about 5 calls per day about cars that won't start because of water in the gas filter that has frozen! so add a gas dryer and change the fuel filter and away we go! woohoo!

If all you did was remove the pan and service it then 3 and 3/4 liters will fill it. If it was rebuilt and has no fluid at all then it will take 8 and 1/2 liters

check if you have a spark when engine dies. if not, check the rpm sensor or ignition coil. both have the simptoms like you describe.

I went through the sme thing. I replaced every sensor on the motor. It turned out to be a very dirty gas tank. I replaced it. And it runs like a top now.

SOURCE: I need a picture showing the location of the water

it's inside the timing belt cover. you must take all the drive belts and pulleys that in the way then remove the plastic timing cover.

Where is the fuel filter located and how do you replace it on a l994 chrysler LeBaron v6-181 3.0L

Take passenger side rear wheel off, put it on safety stand, and look along frame rail, ahead of, or near there, in fuel line, should be mounted to frame with one bolt through bracket on filter. Just have to pull/pry those little clips out sideways, to release, then pull fitting off, then snap them back in when new one installed. make sure you relieve fuel pressure up at valve on fuel rail. (cover with rag, so no spray in face, careful.)

1992 Chrysler LeBaron 3.0 L. V6 Engine runs beautifully but after 16-20 miles highway driving engine stalls as if flooded, or as if fuel is cut-off. After sitting for a few minutes, will start and run...

the owner probably rerouted the fuel line because like my 92 chrysler lebaron v6 3.0 the fuel lines keep seeming to come off and the clamps always break. I have replaced the clamps 5 times in a month and replaced filters 2 times in 2 months. The only thing i could think of is that your fuel is being cut off possibly because there is no filter to clean all the junk out. Try putting a fuel filter on and see if that will work
