V6 convertable

i called our local parts store and i was told the fuel filter is located on the passenger side of the car, past the back door, attached to the frame under the car! i was also told that the fuel pump access port is located under the back seat. we have had some really cold weather here in washington this past week and the parts person said that they have had about 5 calls per day about cars that won't start because of water in the gas filter that has frozen! so add a gas dryer and change the fuel filter and away we go! woohoo!

If all you did was remove the pan and service it then 3 and 3/4 liters will fill it. If it was rebuilt and has no fluid at all then it will take 8 and 1/2 liters

check if you have a spark when engine dies. if not, check the rpm sensor or ignition coil. both have the simptoms like you describe.

I went through the sme thing. I replaced every sensor on the motor. It turned out to be a very dirty gas tank. I replaced it. And it runs like a top now.

it's inside the timing belt cover. you must take all the drive belts and pulleys that in the way then remove the plastic timing cover.
