SOURCE: air bag light blinking

get this checked out asap. This indicates the air bag system has a problem, and may not deploy in the event of an accident. Did you just purchase the car w/ this problem, or have u had it a while? I ask, because if u purchased it w/ the blinking light, it could indicate the car was in an accident, the air bag deployed, and it wasn't replaced when repairs were made. That's the worse case scenario, get it checked, hopefully it's something not that serious. Let me know how u make out Curt

Chevy Venture Van 2007 air bag light coming on dash board while driving

That means there is a fault in the airbag system. Every time you start the vehicle it will do a self check. If the self check fails the light will stay on.

You will need a higher end scan tool to pull codes from the airbag module. Once you know what codes are present you will have a better idea of what direction to head into.

Post the codes in the comments below and I'll do my best to help you figure it out.

2014 Nissan maxima air bag light on dash

Try watching this video that should help you:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hkuFL-nO0pA

Joan Hancock said, "indicated the airbag module was open and to see if it would be covered under the warranty because it's $1,000 to fix it. Nissan's warranty includes the airbags as part of the drive train" she tried what the above video said and the light went off.

How du you reset the airbag light on a 2005 nissan primera

Depending upon which "airbag light" you see, it's one of two things:
  1. If you are seeing the yellow AIRBAG light on your dashboard, it means that your airbag system is not operating properly, and should be serviced IMMEDIATELY, because it will not protect you in the event of a collision;
  2. If you are seeing the light in the middle of the dashboard that says "PASS. AIR BAG OFF," it means that you have disabled the passenger air bag, and it will not deploy in the event of an accident. Follow the directions in your User Manual.

What would cause the air bag dash light to stay on?

Look for the lamp cluster unit if the light is not receiving the voltage to groung .. to be off. The air bag sensors seems right or else it would have triggered the bag, hence you must check back from the indicatorr lamp bu tracing the voltage or using a test lamp-12volt- to find if the trigg is absent in the harnesswires, the connectorr or the board or is gettting a cross circuit. Hope you chek this way. Good day.
