Nissan maxima fuse box

Here are the fuses. It looks like it is a feature of the Body Control Module, which is normal. Try this

Apr 22, 2002 - because when the taillight fuse blows, all your corner lights and dash lights stop working, at least on my car that's what happens.

FUSE PANEL IDENTIFICATION (1983-90 LINCOLN TOWN CAR) The fuse panel is located in the instrument panel to the left of the steering column. To expose fuse panel, remove lower steering column finish panel.

If you have no lights period I would check the wiring. If it's not the fuses (Under hood and inside). Just the brake lights check the brake switch under brake pedal.
Some Nissan's have a unit between the wiring that goes out. Trace the wires from the tail lights It would be in the trunk. Small black box.

the auxiliary box would do that . it is the main fuse box. the question is what in the fuse is blowwing the mail fuse

I had the same problem with my 04 maxima if you check under the plastic by your windshield wiper fluid you will find another fuse box and there you will find the fuse for the back tail lights

CHECK FOR ANY WATER COTACT WITH WIRING
