SOURCE: won,t shift transfer case into 4wheel drive

Is the truck on the fly 4X4 push button or is there a lever on the floor you pull into 4 wheel drive? Located on the back of the transfer case not hard to change few bolts and a wire harness. Does the front drive shaft turn when you put it in 4x4 and the front wheels won't ingage? If so then its not your transfer case its the actulator on the front axle at the gear hub or pumpkin it will have two 10mm bolts and a black plastic cover if so remove cover and spray actulator shaft with wd-40.

SOURCE: location of fuel pump on 1988 Ford F350 460 engine

there could be 2. one is in the tank, this one is there for sure. the other is in the frame rail ahead of the switching valve,if you have 2 tanks.Otherwise look for a cylinder with fuel lines and 2 wires.the fittings on inline fuel pump might take a special tool, they will look like a bell.that tool can be bought at parts store, should be under $15.

SOURCE: in a 2000 ford expedition does the cross member

First you need to measure the height from the ground to the frame on each side on level ground. Write those numbers down. If you follow the torsion bars to the crossmember, you will see arms or levers attached to them. Counter clockwise will lower them. Remove the bolts, then the torsion bars then the crossmember.

Transfer case will not disengage

If you have a gear stick to do the changing check underneath for mud build-up or a stick or stones preventing changing. If you have electric buttons the changing is done by a solenoid activated unit. Most are vacuum operated so check for power supply to unit or a blockage in the vacuum line

I need to converd my 2wd 1999 ford F350 into a

Yes, it can be done, but it will be highly expensive as it will be necessary to replace the gearbox and the front axle and to add a transfer box , a cardan shaft and all the commands. In the end it will be cheaper to just sell your 2WD and buy a same year 4WD.
