Why do i keep getting error code 43 whenever i want to play a cd?

Any cd i insert does not play and gives a message ERROR CODE 43

It may still be under warranty. Take the vehicle into a Hyundai Service Center (dealership), or call them to find out if it's still under warranty. If so, take the vehicle in and they will tell you EXACTLY what the problem is and what's needed to fix it (warranty repair, or parts, labor, tax, time-frame, etc.).

The motor that spins the disk no longer works, disassemble the cd player and replace your cd motor with a new one. Radio shack has them, but I suggest replacing your player with an aftermarket unit like sony, kenwood, audiovox, or any other high quality cd players.

Common problem.. I re-engage the cd or cd cartridge and the error message goes away and cd starts to play. try it, it make take 2-3 times but it works for me.

If your CD's are not immaculate or tired copied / PC burned and non original you can get an error in reading. If the CD eventually plays after multipal enrties try a lazer cleaning disc . Good Luck

CD Format Acura Tl Type S 2007

Here is how it has to be done without costing you a bunch of money - Every time the battery is disconnected this has to be done: If you have jumped or replaced the battery at anytime this will happen (when you loose power you might not know this even happened). You have to get the serial number off the radio by removing it or partially taking it out to see the numbers on it try not to remove any cords. With the stereo out (to make sure you get the right number off of it) call an Acura dealership with the number and they will give you the another number to enter into the stereo and directions on how to punch the numbers in. Make sure while you have the stereo out you write the serial number down and keep it in a safe place also the number that the Acura dealership gives you because if you sell the car or if it happens again its easily accessible. Good Luck!

Trying to play a burnt cd in my 2006 impala

it sound to me like the issue is not with the player, but with how the cd's were burned. Make sure you are closing the seesion and that you are burning an audio cd and not an audio data cd.

From Tiburon owners manual: Er6 - DISC ERROR - CHECK IF THE DISC IS INSERTED CORRECTLY IN THE CD PLAYER.
MAKE SURE THE DISC IS NOT SCRATCHED OR DAMAGED.
