Check engine light blinking,this is indication of error code stored in the Engine control module.its advisable to get vehicle scanned at diagnostic center to retrieve the error code stored.Once the error codes are retrieved,further diagnosis can be done as per error code.

Well I can't find flash code 74 for a 2002 expedition. But looking up the code from Ford it says:
Intermittent Or Rewired Driver's Airbag Module Circuit Low Resistance Or Shorted

Maybe double check the flash code to make sure.

Code P1113 IAT sensor (L/C) open/short circuit; just replace this part.
