Does sound like a mounting type symptom i would get the engine and transmission mounting points checked ASAP as could be damaging the chassis,or even the mounting points on the engine/gearbox which could cost a fair amount to replace , the other possability is the drive shaft may have to much free play and at start of movement it could cause a jerk ,this again would need looking at very soon as could be causing damage to the drive train etc

try a cheap fix... buy a couple bottles of gas line antifreeze and put them in the tank either right away or at your next fill up of gas. it sounds like water in your gas.

SOURCE: trac off and check engine light for lexus es 300

A week ago, on my Lexus ES 300 (2001), "Check Engine" and "Trac Off" lights came on. This coincided with me filling the gas tank to the brim to round the dollar to be paid. I cleaned the gas tank cap and the tank opening. However, both lights persisted. On the same day, when I turned on the car again, there was a hesitance, a stuttering to come on. Both "Check Engine" and "Trac Off" lights were still on.

The next day, the car wouldn't come on at all. It sounded as the battery was dead. I couldn't even jump start the car. So, I got a new battery from Costco ($59) and put it in. It took 15-20 seconds of cranking to get the car started. Once it was started, the engine sounded fine and the RPM normal. The "Check Engine" light was off. However, the "Trac Off" was still on. I cleaned the gas tank cap one more time.

The next morning, when I turned the car on, there was no problems. It came on instantly as it used to be, didn't have any warning lights, and drove smoothly.

SOURCE: problem with drivers door power

1999 Lexus ES300. The front power windows are opening on their own. I park, turn off engine, lock the doors and within a half hour the front windows have opened completely. Any thoughts on this problem?

My 1992 lexus es 300 jerks when taking of after that it drives fine what could it be

My first hypothesis: Low or dirty transmission fluid may cause a lag on acceleration (due to inadequate pressure at idle), followed by a jerk as the transmission is forced to catch up to the engine.

Transmission kicks in first gear and reverse/drive positions. Why

check for broken motor mounts. if it is a rear wheel/4 wheel drive, check your u-joints in your driveshaft. if the aforementioned is good, check the fluid level and condition in your transmission. last resort, if rear/4 wheel drive: check your rearend fluid level and condition.

I have a 1992 Lexus ES 300. Automatic. It has 130,000 miles on it. I bought it about a year ago and have had so many problems with it ever since I bought it. My most recent issues with it is when i go to...

Your first problem sounds like starter solenoid. Replace starter should fix your problem. Second problem sounds like a misfire possibly? Change plugs wires, cap rotor.
