SOURCE: FIND FUEL FILTER

all you have to do is take off the gas cap to help release the pressure and take the clips off on each side of the fuel filter and make sure you put the filter back on and the arrow in going toward the front of the car.

Haynes Manual 24071 includes wire diagrams for all components. On the injector you have a pink and dark blue wire both are hot and signal wires. The only ground in the system is on the fuel pump and sender unit. Diagram 12-26 in the haynes maual.

SOURCE: 1985 s10 will not start.

Odd one, sure the fuse labeled inj is ok? Also pull the dist. cap check for side to side play at the rotor shaft,if the bushing is worn out the pickup coil won't work right. While you're there, crank it and make sure the rotor is turning(ie timing chain of shaft gear failure)

F350 sukper duty diesel wont start changed fuel filters and still nothing

Is glow plug timer working(clicking)? If this is an electrically injected unit check the injector harness for power to the injectors.

Check your fuel filters for fuel. Sometimes you need to prefill the filter to eliminate "air locks".

We can not understand why it cant get fuel to the injectors

Have you tested out the fuel pump? check for plugged fuel filter?
plugged fuel lines to the fuel rail, injection pulse at the injectors? power to the fuel pump relay? grounds needed to make certain systems work must check those also. get a wiring diagram of the fuel supply system and back trace all the wiring and see if you have power and ground and signal.

Looking for a fuel system diagram for a 1983 6.2 diesel where can I find one

fuel flow is from tank to seperator filter then to supply pump on block now under presure to the secondary filter on the engine in the valley from there to the injection pump fuel not injected leaves the injector pump through the check valve at the top front of the pump entering the return lines withe the lines from all the returns on the injectors back to the tank. Yes the primary filter is on the **** side and should not be opened while running or cranking. hope this helps. Jim

1.5 diesel megane injection fault

The cheapest way to go is to change the fuel filters first and the air filter. Then I would change the crankshaft sensor.

You may have to bit the bullet , and have the fuel pump changed before the fuel injection pump. The fuel pump in the tank can be loosing pressure to the fuel injectoin pump.
I think the lesser cost is the fuel tank pump vs. the fuel injection pump.

The system runs of fuel and air. No spark like on a gas engine.

So the problem can only be lack of fuel or lack of air getting into the vehicle air induction. A restriction in fuel or air will make the engine run poorly.

Diesel fuel injection fault light keeps coming on , loss of power black smoke from exhaust.

Black smoke usually means a fuel problem, try changing the fuel filter and get an injector cleaner from tesco's or asda they're about £3 to£5, if your gonna change your fuel filter you might as well change the oil and filter and the air filter at the same time
