I need the specs for a 1990 mazda protege cruise - 174b705.gif
Mazda vehicles used both vacuum actuated and electric stepper motor type cruise control systems. The actuator, located in the engine compartment, will have a vacuum line and electrical wires connected to it if it is a vacuum model. Electric stepper motor type units will have no vacuum line connected to the actuator.

Fig. 3: Test the actuator by applying vacuum to it and ensuring that the diaphragm pulls, and it holds vacuum

I have 1990 Mazda Protege Se. Gas fuel guage is showing empty but about 2-3 gallons gas is in tank. When I fuel it up to full, gas guage showing full again. What's the problem? How to fix?

the extra fuel is "reserve" to get you to a fuel station... this is normal. If you were to run it completely out you will damage your fuel pump, fuel is used to cool the fuel pump. Soo... DON'T run it so low!
