Antilock brake engagement no codes - 2006 Infiniti FX35

Antilock Brake System (ABS) Pressure Circuit.

• The braking system is not performing an antilock or traction control event.
• The 2 master cylinder pressure sensors do not correlate.

That means there is a problem with the ABS , has DTC'S - diagnostic trouble codes in the EBCM - electronic brake control module . You need to have diagnostics run on it !

Could be bad wheel speed sensor, but if so this usually sets a code. Bad hub assembly may have wheel bearing loose enough to trigger anti lock. Bad news is you must replace entire hub assembly. Don't buy cheap parts store hubs as they do not hold up long. Order quality OEM hubs from Summit or Jegs.

The antilock brake system has a problem and needs servicing quickly before you have an accident.

Usually this is a bad wheel bearing. Some times they make noise, sometimes not. You will have to put a scanner on it and find out which wheel sensor is acting up.

have you got a bad antilock brake sender maybe a code scan at autozone then google what codes you find include our car in search term and code

The first thing you need to do is get the codes from the antilock brake control module.There is no chip in the module.You need to see what code or codes are in the antilock brake system.This will tell you what could be causing the lights to come on.When the abs light comes on the brake light will automatically come on.Your regular brakes will still work normal but you will not have antilcok braking.Let me know what codes you get and I`ll be glad to help you finding the problem.Hope this helps.Good luck.

i would suspect your antilock brakes are activating. you probably have one of your wheel speed sensors that drop to 0 mph fooling the computer that one of the wheels have locked up and therefore goes into antilock mode. no code would set as this is a normal function of antilock brakes, you would need to get a scanner on the car and monitor wheel speed input. as you come to a stop monitor the wheel speeds closely and look to see which one is droppind to 0 prematurly.

either your antilock brake sensor is not working properly or your switch behind your foot brake is not working properly.
