New motor keeps stalling on my 1995 olds cutlass supreme

I really need help on this one.I'm a mechanic that walked into this problem.This 1995 olds,has a new motor in it.I found out that It is out of a chevy monte carlo(1995 I think) 3.1 LT. Vin is M code.The car starts up good at first.And after about a minute it wants to stall.I have to pump the gas to keep it going.Once it warms up,It then seems to be ok.I have check just about everything on this dam thing.And still can't understand why it is doing this.I'm just about to blow up this customers Car (just kidding).Please Can you help

Look at the wires going to the crank sensor between the trans and engine. I have seen them get burned just below the EGR on the exaust crossover pipe. I had one eat my lunch before I found it. Good Luck

There is a red wire close to the battery in the front. It's not connected to anything. Apply positive voltage and that will run your pump for testing purposes.

1995 old cutlass rocker arms wont tighten?
need to know what size motor you have but the 3.1, 3.4, and 3.8 liter motors are know for the rocker arm studs striping out inside of the head so while you think your tightening it your really only turning the nut and the stud. try putting a wrench(13mm) on it and turn to see if stud is turning. if so it will need to be drilled out and a helie coil put in it

Just bought a 1995 olds cutlass supreme and tranny shifts great but when put into reverse its like hangs up then I gotta go neutral and drive a few times to free it up fluid is full no noises or any other...
It may likely be a bad motor mount, but you should take it to a ****** shop to make sure. You can usually get a free estimate and then go from there.
You should initially mention to the mechanic that you dont have the $$ for a full ****** rebuild, that way he may not be as upset if you get the diagnosis & then opt to not get the work done.

That should be it for fuse compartments..

If its not the fuse(s) or relay it might bethe switch,, or the motor..

Try to determine if there is power getting to the switch,, if so see if there is power to the motor..

You can find replacement parts pretty cheep on-line..

1995 oldsmobile cutlass broken reclining seat motor
I would go to the junk yard and find a new motor. You can unbolt the seat and take it out. you could even try to hook the motor up to a car battery while out of the car.
