normally it is on the steering wheel and if not there then check just behind the steering column up on the dash (it may be laying just in front of the gauges) and some were on the turn signal lever hope all of these help you out but if not stop by a dealer and they maybe able to show you

I will say,the governor in the the transmission is the problem,it has a tiny piece of trash in the valve, remove the governor, and disassemble the governor, and clean real good, then replace it.It is located on drivers side,on the side of the transmission,it has a dome shaped cover, remove the cover, and the governor will come out.

I have a 1990 jayco motorhome that is powered by a Ford f-350 econoline with a 460 ci motor. I need to know which fuse is for the cruise control?

I would guess a 1990 E350 Econoline Van Owner Manual would have the chart. ISn't it on the fuse panel cover?

If you have no luck, let me know and I will try to search my archieves.

Usually you can follow the hissing noise. Any noise inside the car? Near the brake pedal where the cruise cutoff vacuum switch is? If not, start at the throttle body. The main line runs from there to the vacuum storage canister. See diagram below.

Got a 1993 4.0 xj40 sovereign (xj6) with an intermittent Cruise control. Works perfectly till engine temp reaches normal then ceases to operate. Have replaced Speed control module and vacuum pump unit...

check if your car has a speed sensor located in the diff rear cover if so from memory early face lift xj40 models used that sensor for the cruise only signal . the speedo signal came from the abs circuit. does the speedo fail at the same time? the sensor in the diff used to change spec when the oil increased in temp whatever sounds like the speed signal is at fault, blue wire i think at the seed control module good luck

Speedo cruise on the audi 100 does not work

The cable was probably not reattached to the throttle body, or the wiring for the cruise module was not plugged back in. The VW/Audi cruise control system does not use engine vacuum, it uses it's own vacuum pump. Vacuum runs from the pump/control module to the vacuum reservoir that pulls on the throttle cable. The is also another vacuum line that runs to the brake pedal, which is a safety feature (press the brake pedal and the vacuum to the vacuum reservoir is instantly cut, releasing the throttle and disengaging the cruise control.)

1990 ford truck cruise control - troubleshooting

Look at your speed control deactivation switch. It should be near your master cylinder. check to see if it's leaking. I think you have a recall 05s28 for the switch if its leaking. If it's not leaking, jump the two pin connector with a wire making sure not to ground it out. Drive it and try the cruise. If it works thats your problem.Good luck.

I need the specs for a 1990 mazda protege cruise control unit....it is no longer working trying to fix.

Mazda vehicles used both vacuum actuated and electric stepper motor type cruise control systems. The actuator, located in the engine compartment, will have a vacuum line and electrical wires connected to it if it is a vacuum model. Electric stepper motor type units will have no vacuum line connected to the actuator.
