Changed the air filter lately? Possibly defective O2 sensors, but I doubt it. If air filter and intake are clear, I'd check barometric pressure sensor and mass air flow sensors. Get a Haynes or Chilton's for $25 at Pep Boys for instructions on testing these componenets

Can be multi reasons search the codes and will have multi sites that give reasons and solutions for the problem --some reasons - dirty air flow sensor -failed or failing O2 sensor-injectors- fuel regulator- vacuum leak- coolant system/ sensor - needs tune up ect.

2005 jeep grand cherokee Po204 205 175 174 138 158. Runs rough. Whats wrong?

PO204,205 are injector circuit malfunction,PO174 is a system lean code, PO175 is system rich code, PO138 is heated oxygen sensor bank1 sensor 2 circuit high voltage, PO158 is heated oxygen sensor bank2 sensor 2 circuit high voltage. This is a repair for your mechanic. When they fix the injector and o2 circuits the rich lean codes will also be repaired. Continued driving will ruin your catalytic converter. Good luck

I have a 1997 1500 with a 5.0 Im getting codes po143 po172 po175 and po300. Im not sure what the cause could be.

Code 300 is for a random miss.
172 and 175 are for the same problem - 172 is for a rich fuel mixture bank one and 175 is for the fuel mixture too rich on bank two.
Code 143 is for a rich mixture for sensor number 3.
All of the codes could be connected to a leaking injector or other fuel problem. Very seldom are all of the O2 sensors faulty at the same time.

PO172 AND PO175 CODES

These codes mean system too rich, meaning too much fuel while running, I would check the vacuum lines and then clean the Mass Air Flow sensor (MAF), it should be located in line with the air intake tube from the air filter. Be careful not to damage the sensors internal components (use electrical cleaner or brake cleaner), and make sure it is dry before re-installation. Hope this helps, let me know.

Want to know what PO172 System too rich bank 1 means and PO175 System too rich bank 2 means. These are fault codes from an emissions test I had done on my Dodge avenger and it failed

it means your cars computer is pumping too muchgas into your motor because it thinks the engine is either running lean possibly due to faulty o2 sensors or that the coolant temp sensor is giving false readings and the ecm thinks the car is still too cold.

Po171 po172 po174 po175 ???

If the fuel pressure was low enough to give lean codes then u would have a loss of power that you would easily notice, you say you checked for vacuum leaks, did you use a can of carb spray or a bottle of propane? it only takes a very small leak to trigger the codes, spray carb spray around the intake area, see if the engine sound changes, this will indicate a leak,
