Sounds like it could be the starter. But first check all you hoses. A leaky vacuum hose can cause problems. Let me know if this helps.

Just because the radio etc works does'nt mean that the battery has enough power to turn the engine over ,so try a jump start then get the battery checked to make sure its holding charge. if thats ok get the alternator charge rate checked, as if on the low side the battery will not retain enough power for all the vehicle's components.keep me posted

Why won't my 2010 Ford Econoline start despite all lights/radio etc come on?

It takes a lot more power to start a motor than it does to run the accessories.. First thing to check is for loose or corroded battery cables.. next check the output on the alternator to see if it is charging the battery.

look at connection to your starter. sometimes the positive cable works loose due to driving conditions. I had same problem with a Suzuki it only did it in cold weather but I ended up replacing the starter.

1990 grand caravan wiper and radio works intermittently. Wiper will start if you give it a push on the wiper blade, but doesn't keep working. Radio comes on when it feels like it. When you turn the key, it...

Try cleaning the wiper motor ground wire at it's grounding point or where it connects to the frame. Also when a van or car sits for a while, things begin to rust. Try cleaning your ground from motor to frame & clean your battery terminals. There is a possibility that you have a flat spot on the wiper motor but I doubt it. Try these things I've suggested & I hope this solves your problem. Good luck!

1993 Buick Roadmaster with 66,000.00 original miles. Something going on with maybe the charging system. When driving the car want's to cut out but giving it gas keeps it going. The RPM goes up and down...

sounds like the crankshaft position sensor may be failing, this is not a charging system problem, if it where it would run fine until the battery was run dead and then u would have nothing, no crank no lights nothing, I had this same problem in my 91 Buick Rivera, it has the same engine and electronics. did almost exactly what yours is doing, crankshaft sensor fixed it, and $200 of course.
