what that means is that the ecm(main computer) is not getting a voltage signal value from the o2 sensor. this could be due to a broken wire,bad plug or a bad sensor please rate this thanks

Hello. I recommend replacing the blower relay. Go to any auto parts store and they will sell you the correct relay and possibly even plug it in for you. it is under the dash board. regards, Joe

The grade of oil is normally SAE 10w 30.
In colder climates use 5W 30 as recommended in the owners manual.
Do Not use 20w 50 oils in the Northstar engine!.

I just bought a 1994 cadillac seville sls with the 4.6 litre motor. the seller said the engine was recently rebuilt. the check engine oil continuosly displays on the dash. i have added oil and it seems...

Have you tried putting more oil in, Should have it above the add line. If all else fails have a oil change on it.Have them filled it like they do after and oil change, and then keep and eye on dip stick, If looses oil after that, you have a leak somewhere. I have a 1994 cadillac seville sts that is leakin quit a bit of oil...we thought it was a rear main seal but after taking it apart found out that's not the case.... it has a northstar engine in it

the northstar engines are notorious for rear intake manifold leaks, leaks down rear of engine and looks like rear main seal. Also check oil pressure switch for cracks

Need to replace serpentine belt and idler pulley for 1994 Cadillac Seville SLS and need diagram. It's not under hood on our car. We downloaded one diagram but it was not a match.

I had same issue. 1994 Cadillac Seville SLS serp diagrams not like my engine. Found that it is the same as 1993 Cadillac STS Northstar!
Try that, it worked for me. Good Luck.

battery is getting drain and it not the alternator, fuel pump, or fuel filter

You have to reset it, I honestly am not sure about how for your particular model but I had a Grand Prix and several Pickups about that year that required turning the key off then back on and hitting accelerator pedal three times as I remember. Your owners manual are Goggle search for "rest Change Engine Oil 1997 Cadillac will find you the specific info you need for free. I hope I have helped you and Merry Christmas!

I have the same problem i found out that it is my cruis control has a leak in the hose and if you just disconect it you will no longer have cruis control but it should stop the problem
