Power steering hose diagram for 1993 cadillac deville

2 spots leaking power steering fluid, one on the pass and one on the drivers side. I have already replaced the pressure line on power steering and put new O-rings in the plastic box right off the pump that controls the direction of the fluid

SOURCE: power steering leak

To try to find the leak, purchase a spray can of engine cleaner and spray the entire area of the pump and hoses. Then wash off with a garden hose. Fill pump reservoir with fluid. Have someone turn the steering wheel while you look in that area of the pump and hoses with a flashlight for the leak. Be careful of rotating fan and belts!

SOURCE: leaks red fluid, hesitates on take off sometimes

this is tranny fluid. ive had the problem myself. its most likely a hose that goes from the tranny to the tranny cooler that is located at the front of the car and is sometimes part of your radiator. get this fixed ASAP

SOURCE: 1994 cadillac deville is leaking power steering

Hi,
The most likely cause of this is a leaking or severed hose or cracked power steering reservoir
WITH THE ENGINE OFF. I would get a good flashlight and locate the pump under the hood and closely examine the pump and trace the hoses from it.
I would go so far as to pull on the hoses to see if one is completely separated.
Something should show up.
I hope this helps.
Best,
Mark

How do I find a leak in power steering I can't see it from the top.Within 20 minutes fluid is gone.Cant see any leak but puddle on ground.

Did you already checked on the steering rack?
Maybe you need to check from the bottom vehicle also. The leakage commonly occur at the hose joint and sometimes it occur at oil seal on steering rack.

My 1996 Cadillac DeVille Concours problem is with the power steering. The fluid runs out as fast as it's poured in. What can I check for and have you any diagrams as I can't find any that show the

Most likely it's a hose come loose or ruptured. It sounds like, from your description, that's where the PS pressure line connects to the rack and pinion. If it's leaking that bad, it's a big break in the hose, or it came completely off where it goes into the steering unit. It's a pretty difficult job to replace it due to cramped working area.
Good luck, and merry Christmas.

AFTER MAKING A U TURN ALL OF MY POWER STEERING FLUID FLOWED OUT . I REFILLED IT 2 BLOCKS FROM HOME IT ALL RAN OUT BY THE TIME I GOT HOME THE LEAK IS ON THE DRIVERS SIDE. COULD IT BE A HOSE.

You has a leak on the high or low pressure return hose.

The high pressure line is machine press on and it heavy duty. (it's between power steering pump and rack)

The low pressure line is thinner.
(It's return from the rack to the pump)

Check for leaks on both lines.

Order the correct section from part store.
