My 2003 town and country lx will some times shutter as i take off from a stop what could make it do this?

Its in the box next to the battery and i had the same problem.The fuse is on the first line top.

It does have air conditioning installed. It may also have rear a/c. The rear a/c evaporator is probably leaking freon. I have replaced many rear evaporators on 2006 and 2007 Chrysler minivans as a result of a design change in 2006. Recharge the a/c and add dye to the system. If it has rear air, look behind the right rear wheel in the fender area under the car where the a/c lines go into the body.

There can be multiple temperature sensors on a vehicle. I will assume you are looking for the engine temperature sensor. It is normally located on the top of the engine near the front within inches of the top radiator hose. Most only require one wire for operation but some models may have more.
