HOW CAN I FIX THE PROBLEM OR DISCONNECT THE ALARM COMPLETLY
That is rarely the case actually, bmw's during the 2001 to 2004 models have a known alarm electronic issue.
Your problem is the cause of one or more of the following:
1. faulty hood enclosure sensor damaged from engine heat
2. interior motion sensor is faulty
3. the alarm sensor module
4. OR the sensitivity needs recalibration
None of these are cheap quick fixes, but taking your vehicle to a good mechanic is the first step.
Good luck with your issue.
Two approaches, assuming you want a cheap fix... My guess is you've already replaced the remote battery? The unit needs reprogrammed. Instructions should be in the owners manual, if possible to reprogram the unit by the owner. If the instructions are NOT there, you must take it to the dealer, sorry
Shouldn't be more than $80
Good Luck
