SOURCE: Locked rear wheels

you will have to try to move it. or you need to remove the wheels, brakes. if it has drums you can adjust them away from the shoes and it will spin free. if it has disc you may need to remove the calipers and then the pads. then remove the discs and clean them or replace them and the pads. go with an organic set of pads and they will not rust stuck again

Sand gring noise progressing

do you own jack stands ???
why not jack up the drive wheels and listen for noises ?

jack each wheel up independantly and run the car for a couple of minutes this will aallow you to clear some different noises off the list
push down on the bumber and support the axcell with a jack stand more noises gone from equasion

jack the drive wheels up 1 at a time start car put in gear and run to 20 miles or 30 km chalk the other wheels and do it where you have some space incase chit happens that shouldn't
this will allow you to track the noise to it's location

2005 sunfire trunk won't close and latch

this happened all the time on my 03, take two plyers, one in each hand and put them both onto the u-bolt (the part that the latch latches to) and pull up then try and close the trunk, sometimes the latch pushes that ubolt platform down so it cant grab

Where is the sunfire 2003 transmission dipstick located

Pontiac designed a "sealed system" and they think that if there's not a leak, then there's no need to check the fluid level.
There is however a plug on the side of the tranny pan...jack the car up to check level there.
