What does CAT, 025, MTR, EGR mean?

I would go to an AutoZone, or similar parts store, that does free code scans, they can explain what's going on.

Eatc code 024 025 97 tc

Codes 025 and 024 mean blend door failure. So it's either stuck of the broken, or the actuator isn't working.

My 2003 Volvo S60 2.5T gives me an error code of '025' when the car is off but in accessory mode. What does this mean? I already get a message saying 'SRS Airbag Service Urgent' because my side curtain...

I unhooked the battery to instal a new radio, as per directions. Everything went fine, but I decided to reroute some wires and did not unhook the battery. Unwise as it is now giving me the 025 code for the air bag. A local mechanic was not able to turn it off, he said it needs a volvo dealer to turn off the light. Since I know it is the only issue the car has I think I will try unhooking the battery for 20 minutes to see if it will reset. I was told it would not work because the 025 is a safety issue, we will see...

1993 Chevy K1500 4.3 engine 4x4 with 4L60E tranny

Not difficult at all, depends which 5.7l you decide to put in it, i would go with 1994-1989.....would cost about $250 and a twelve pack of the tech's choice:) ....Motor and all at normal places for install would cost you about $800-1200 depending on thier labor....My suggestion would be if you dont want to do it yourself, go to you local yokal mechanic hut when they are getting rdy to close, and ask one of the techs if he wants any side work.. odds are he'll say yes and thank you for it....Just takes small fabrictions and wireing harnesss's and diagrams which you can get off the internet.....hope this was helpful to you !

Codes: PO133 02, P1133 H 025, P1134 H 025

I would try to clean out the egr valve , check for leaks at the evap canister, check the evap canister soleniod , and lastly change out the cat convertor, The cat convertor is most likely under the federal emmission warranty of 8 yrs,.80000 miles. You can take the vehicle in to have checked by local dealer or call gm customer service to check the warranty on the cat. convertor by giving them your vehicle number.

1998 toy avalon

After seeing a broken cam the dealer should have recommended a RDI of the engine(remove, disassemble and inspect). Cams don't break on their own. Low oil pressure is usually the cause and will damage other internal parts such as rod and main bearings. After the RDI a complete list of the damage would have been had and you could have made a decision from there. It was rather irresponcible of the dealer to just replace ther head and cam without the RDI.
