Is there a fuse for the entry pad on the Marquis?
Fuse #8 on the interior fuse panel and 20amp on the engine compartment fuse box, but if either of these were blown you would have several other things not working, door locks from any switch, dash board wouldn't light up, cluster radio heater control and d o on.if all this is working, I would start my testing at the door pad.they get little cracks in them over time and water gets inside and corrodes the switch, pad, internally. .ive done a lot up hete on east coast. .

This is a simple job You must remove the door panel. Then from the inside of the door there is 3 bolts that hold it on pull these bolts and unpluge the connector and thats it.

it is on the fender near the battery and is also referred to as the starter solenoid (if you follow the large wire from the positive terminal of the battery at the other end will be your relay/solenoid)
hope this helps!
