I would suggest you have your fuel system checked. Could you post a little more information, please? Does it die when you take your foot off the gas, or at a stop light? Or just randomly?

the problem was changing that fluid! rarely happen, but it will happen when people change transmission fluid on older car then the car messed up. when you change the fluid you washed all the friction material on the clutch surface by putting in new fluid.

88 Bronco ii won't shift into 4 wheel drive.

Check to see if you are getting power through your switch on your dash. I also suspect your shift motor but it is a lot easier to check it with a test light.
