The owner was unaware that the wires had connectors that could have been unplugged inside the door prior to removing it (damaged in an accident) and just cut all the wires assuming they could be reattached by matching the colors. However, there are multiple wires with the same colors that make it impossible to solder them back together without a diagram. Even the headlights don't work now because the switch was in the door panel... Money is an issue at this time so a hanes guide is out of the question. Any other suggestions? Don't have a guide for the fuse box so can't use a multimeter to figure things out. Not sure if that is in the owner's manual. Guess I'll find out tomorrow.

the fuse is in panel with other fuses, however it will say a\c instead of heater. You may want to use a test light to check for voltage at the blower motor plug. To see if current is going to the fuse. Check the other fuses too. since they are linked in parallel to the the acc auto climate .

the clips are very hard to break but if you do break them you can pick new ones up at pepboys or any part store they dont cost much

check the wire bundle that runs between the drivers door and the door post. This door is the most used in the entire vehicle which makes these wires flex and eventually break. I had the exact same problem, did exactly what you did until I finally figured out the problem was not where the symptoms showed up. It is a very tight spot to do any kind of a repair, but I did it and so can you.
