SOURCE: 2000 Jaguar S-Type Battery

I had to change the battery in my 1999 S-Type, you will need the radio code, I also needed to reprogramme the board computer which is easy if you have your manual at hand, also the car might act strangely for a while, but this is explained in your users manual, nothing to worry about.

Hope this helps.

SOURCE: Wheel shake and brake judder

what speeds are you obtaining and braking

I would think that you tires are out of balanced whether it be dabre in the rim or an improper balancing job
some cars can be fine up to 40 but when you step up the speed more the more the tires become unbalanced. making the servere shakes.

SOURCE: Hi have replaced the battery on my jaguar 2000 w

Press key 1 on the radio until the first number of your code appears. then repeat for 2,3,4 and once your code is on the screen you then press 5 to accept it.

Also remember to set your windows by holding the switches in the up position for about 5 seconds each

Need radio code for 1993 xjs

the only way to retrieve this code is to call the dealer(they may have you come in) and prove ownership with registration and VIN and they will give you the radio code and process to reset. if you still have the owners manual, many people write the code somewhere in it just in case.
