first make sure the fan is comming on when it gets warm. i would replace the thermostate any way whats 12.00 now vs 2,800 to replace the engen latter. also i would change out the sending unit that goes to the cluster. also disconect the neg. side battery and turn the fan by hand it should spin very easy i belive this vehicle has 2 fans. if they turn frely reconet thr battery start the vehicle turn on ac if both fans do not come on you may have a bad fan relay good luck.
Blown radiator hose? Might have blown a head gasket right there, which would continually send hot bubbles into the cooling system and degas bottle. If you see bubbles continually,it's a head gasket probably.
Might be the degas cap not releasing at 16 psi or your cooling system has air in it, OR your cooling fan is not actuating. Many things.
Also I have gotten 3 out of 5 bad thermostats from aftermarket stores. Get a Motorcraft thermostat. Did you replace with a NEW radiator?
there are 2 relays inbetween the fans they are known for the wiring corroding and causing problems with the relays
get this checked and replace the relays and conectors if needs be
hi its rob cylender head or cylender head gasket or ileak in cooling system check oil for creamy white sludge if non then take of radiator cap start engine see if it bubbles up turn of engine and smell into the radiator for fuel check accesive amounts of water or white smoke coming from tailpipe ether one of these maens cylender head of gasket blown
Sounds like blown head gasket (or worse) still to me.
Remove oil filler cap and look for grey oil.
Never use water these days but special coolant. Water makes vapour spots and cause block cracks, worse then blown gaskets!!!
vapour does not cool very well.
Look like you have cracks already.
Take a compression test if possible. But might not show op at that temperature.
The gauge indication troubles me.
