Your 2008 Elantra fog lamps are probably still under warranty. Take the vehicle into a Hyundai Service Center (dealership) or call the nearest one. Give them your vehicle VIN and ask them if the fog lamps are still under warranty. If they are, they will replace them for FREE!

Renault scenic front foglight bulb

I found the easiest way to change the fog light bulb is to take bumper off, takes 5 mins, 5/6 screws/clips across the top were the bonnet meets the bumper and a few clips on wheel arches then pull off and 2 spot lights very easy to Accra.

Can factory foglights be installed in a 2008 Hyundia Veracruz? Knockouts are in the bumper and a knockout is in the dash. Is the existing wiring harness ready to just plug the fog lights in under the...

Not sure about Veracruz, but most of modern cars have the harness pre-installed to have additional factory things fitted, my Trajet had a plug behind the bumper, my Mazda had a plug for fog light just above the front wheel behind a cover. So I presume that your vehicle will have the same.

Fog light bulbs

You need to remove the plastic under the car, it should either be bolted or screwed in. Pull this down and you should have access to the bulb, a rubber cover and a clip holds the bulb in. No need to remove the entire housing.

Foglight Switches

if you wired them into the factory harness, then you will have to add a factory switch. however you can wire an aftermarket switch directly to the foglights, bypassing any factory harness

I have a UK registed, Feb 2000 AUDI A6 2.7T QUATTRO AUTO ESTATE, Is it right that these are fitted with just one rear fog light that operates and the other is just for show.

Yes it's true. What I did on my US-spec A4 is to pull back the trunk lining on the passenger (right) side, where there is no functional foglight (my rear fog from the factory is on the left side). What I found was that the "bulb tree" has a fully powered socket for a bulb that would fit into a rear foglight on that side, but no bulb was installed. The part of the taillamp that would have a hole for such a fog bulb had a **** instead. I used a drill to widen the **** into a hole large enough for a bulb, and installed a bulb in the bulb tree, and voila - dual rear fogs:)
