HI, this noise can be caused by worn shocks, even if the bushings look good, you can remove one of them and check if is hard to constracts ,if not they must be replaced,
SOURCE: clunking noise comming from the rear
remove the drive shaft press out the old u joints auto zone rents the tool 4 that makes the job easy
SOURCE: lots of clunking noise coming from right rear suspension .
your wheel aligment is out, how long have you owned the car?
SOURCE: corvette makes a distinctive 'clunk'
The two symptoms you posted may or may not be related. I'd check the driveshaft and axle joints for any looseness or binding. (do this with the rear wheels hanging free in neutral, front wheels blocked)
The chattering may be an axle joint or the posi unit in the differential. Most times replacing the diff lube, (using posi additive) then making tight left and right circles will free the clutch packs.
Difficult to diagnose noises online. If you have any problems finding the source, have an experienced tech look at it,,,You still have the option of actually doing the work itself.
