The 15amp fuse for the front cigar lighter is located in right rear of trunk next to battery. SHould ba a black cover over the fuse block assembly.

SOURCE: The cigarette lighter isn't working

on a right hand drive s type the fuse for the cigarette lighter is under dash right hand side it is fuse no 32 20 amps

SOURCE: this car should have main fuse box with the big fuses,car won't start; head lights won't come on now

1994 jaguar xj6, I know of three location that the fuse box exist. 1. just in side the drivers door on the floor inside the front fender where your left foot could rest, 2. the oppsite side passenger side right foot next to the door jam below the door hinge front fender behind the wheel. the 3. is in the center consule where the tapes are stored, is there any other places a fuse box exist on the 1994 jaguar vandenplas xj6 thank

SOURCE: I am looking for a fuse box layout for a 1998 jaguar xj6

The fuse for cigarette lighters is number 9 = F9 (20A).
The fuse box / relay plate (fascia 1) is located inside the car under rear left seat 1 for Right Hand Drive (RHD) cars.
The fuse box (fascia 1) layout is:

1. F1 (10A) = Rear fog lamps
2. F2 (10A) = Heated mirrors, panel lamps rheostat
3. F3 (20A) = RH seat motors
4. F4 (20A) = LH seat motors
5. F5 (10A) = Instruments
6. F6 (5A) = Seat control modules, low power door switches, mirror motors
7. F7 (30A) = ABS pump
8. F8 (10A) = LH indicators / repeater lamps
9. F9 (20A) = Cigarette lighters
10. F10 (5A) = Cruise control
11. F11 (20A) = LH A/C blower motor
12. F12 (5A) = Instruments
13. F13 (15A) = Steering column adjustment
14. F14 (10A) = Automatic Transmission (AT) ignition supply
15. F15 (30A) = LH electric windows
16. F16 (5A) = ABS ignition supply
17. F17 (10A) = Electrochromic mirror, reverse lamps
18. F18 (10A) = A/C supply

open bonnet and front left near blue cap ? is a fuse box the fuse you are looking for a 20A fuse the number is 7 and its a blade type , also fuse boxes in passenger compartment lower side . there is another fuse box further back in the engine bay , all you have to do is take them out one by one remembering to put fuse backin before moving on I just got the info from the web .have a good day and happy driving .

1997 xj6 lighter doesn't work. I've checked the rear trunk, and two engine circuit breakers.

And you have checked the fuse? Check the bottom of the lighter. You can pull it out. It has to have a wire that clips onto the back to work. Make sure that wire is hooked up and is connected good. If it is, try checking the current in the wires. You will need a voltage meter to test the wires. Find the right one, then change it. Thank you for using FixYa.

RH fuse panel - fuse C1 - 20A.
If not blown, it could also be a failed relay.

i think there may be a fuse located on one of the wires thats attached to the radio itself, you will have to pull the radio to check it

Service lights

A lightening bolt means you have a blow fuse. There are 3 main fuse boxes on your 1994 Jaguar.
Left front (where your left foot is behind an inspection panel)
Right front (same)
and in the center console.
Most common fuse is the cigar lighter, make sure you haven't dropped a dime in there as it is next to the ashtray (located right front foot - 20 amp yellow fuse)

Cigarette lighter not working

check fuses in arm rest between seats,also two banks of fuses either side of footwells and they are all marked up on inside of covers
