Chevy blazer 97 replaced the fuel regulator and pump and still

Bad fuel pump, fuel filter, it may not have enough pressure or you aren't getting spark

THERE SHOULD BE 3 WIRES, FROM PUMP/SENDER UNIT, 1 WIRE FOR PUMP POWER, 1 WIRE FOR GROUND, & 1 WIRE FOR FUEL GAGE, THE FUEL GAGE WIRE GOES DIRECTLY TO GAGE , INSPECT THIS WIRE , MAY CHANGE COLOR ON ITS WAY TO GAGE, WIRE MAY HAVE BEEN DAMAGED UNDER TRUCK, ALONG FRAME RAIL, OR HAS BECOME CORRODED, A BUMP IN THE WIRE INSULATION(CORROSION), ALSO, CHECK ALL GROUNDS, REPEAT, ALL GROUNDS TO FUEL PUMP CICUIT, EVEN IF THEY LOOK OK, THEY COULD BE BAD GROUNDS, YOU NEED GOOD GROUNDS TO COMPLETE ANY CIRCUIT !!! 2001 TRUCK, I'D QUESTION YOURS !!!!! WHAT SHAPE WAS YOUR WIRE HARNESS @ PUMP, THEY GO BAD, ANYTHING UNDER THE TRUCK !!!!!! STAY IN YOUCH, LIKE TO KNOW OUTCOME !

QUICK CHECK USE BOOSTER CABLE ONE END ON TANK OTHER END ON BATTERY NEGATIVE IF GAGE GOES OK MAKE UP SHORT WIRE FROM FRAME TO TANK SEEM LIP
AND ATTACH MAKE SURE METAL IS CLEAN

Two places to look...if you have separate injectors for each cylinder then regulator should be at the front end of the fuel rail. If you have throttle body injection it is on the throttle body itself.

have fuel pressure tested has to be over 80psi mine was doing same thing first fuel pump had installed went bad after 3 months guy didnt change filter in tank.mechanic said never let go past quarter tank!

Had the same problem with by 1998 S10 a couple years ago. Changed fuel filter?? didn't work. Changed the fuel pump?? didn't work. Changed the fuel pressure regulator?? didn't work.

I was about to the end of my rope when I put a timing light on it and it showed firing on cylinders more then once a cycle. Turns out my distributor cap was bad and spark was jumping between contacts. When a spark is spread out over more then one cylinder, it doesn't fire correctly and that is causing it to bog out. Simple and a lot cheaper then all the other fixes I tried. Crank sensor was my next option though.

probably not fuel filter . probably going to have to remove the upper intake and replace the fuel injector spider(fuel inj assebly) if it is droping fuel pressure it is leaking into the upper manifold

I have had similar problems and had to replace the fuel pressure regulator. It's a major expense because it sets below the diaphram in the intake manifold. Ask your mechanic about it, it may be the issue. I would get about 30,000 miles between replacement, I've replace it 3 times since purchasing the 2000 chevy blazer new, first one was under warranty.
