best and easiest is to go to the library and look for a chilton or other such repair manual. other then that most automotive box stores sell them.

I Can not Locate Literature on the Subject but, I DO KNOW that the TRUE BUMPER is Located UNDER the COSMETIC COVER You SEE And they are Fairly EASY to Remove Mostly 10mm Bolts and PLASTIC Hold down Buttons, IT Is NOT DIRECTLY COnnected to AIR BAG There is A Number of INERCIA Type Sensor all around the Vehicle that Activates the AIRBAG. If this has Helped you and you feel I Deserve it PLEASE RATE Me, I Truly hope I have shed some light on your Project, Thank You

SOURCE: how to replace a water pump on a 2005 town &

around 450 dollars. It varies from dealership to dealership. Call around and get a basic qoute as most shops will tell you that they need to see the vehicle to be able to give u a better quote. Most items replaced would be the coolant, thermostat, water pump, hoses(most will if the hoses are really "soft"), and all associated gaskets.

SOURCE: Replacing bulbs in tail lights in a Town and Country.

  1. Open your tailgate.
  2. Look for two (2) round flat black discs about the size of a dime (but thicker) on the inside of the body (between the red lens and the weather striping).
  3. Using a pair of pliers, pull out each of these two discs.
    • Note they are in tight and may require a fair bit of force to remove.
  4. Make sure the inner part of the disc also comes out. There are two parts to this system, a grommet and a plug:
    1. Push the plug backwards through the grommet.
      • The grommet fits into the actual hole in the body, and is spread by the plug, the pressure holding them in place.
    2. Carefully remove both grommet and plug.
      • The lens assembly will fall away from the vehicle when you pull out the second grommet so be careful.
  5. Note the wiring harness that connects to a plug inside. Beside that plug are two holders for the actual bulbs.
  6. Remove the holder by pressing the sides inwards and pulling. The light socket should come out.

I am looking for the cylinder head torque specification for the 3.3litre chrysler town and country 2003

Tighten the cylinder head bolts 1 - 8 in the sequence shown in Cylinder Head Bolts Location and Tightening Sequence Using the 4 step torque turn method, tighten according to the following values:
Step 1: Bolts 1 - 8 to 61 N·m (45 ft. lbs.)
Step 2: Bolts 1 - 8 to 88 N·m (65 ft. lbs.)
Step 3: Bolts 1 - 8 (again) to 88 N·m (65 ft. lbs.)
Step 4: Bolts 1 - 8 turn an additional 1/4 Turn. (Do not use a torque wrench for this step.)
NOTE: Bolt torque after 1/4 turn should be over 122 N·m (90 ft. lbs.) If not, replace the bolt.

I am looking into buying a 2004 town & country. My daughter has some physical difficulties and I would like to find out how high the step is to get into the oassenger side of the car

The step is about 10 inches off the ground. If you are looking to get a van (as most will have a high step up from the ground) get a small stepping stool

Van has a new water pump and a new thermostat, we also replaced the radiator which was leaking. the van will still overheat when idling. What is my next step?

are the cooling fans working?have seen cooling fan relay problems with these vehicles..located under left headlamp..riveted in place..remove 2 bolts on top of headlamp and 2 nuts behind near air cleaner top housing..pin 4 of connector has battery power on it..pin 1 is ground..pin 3 is output..jump pins 3 and 4..fans should run..if they do,most likely relay is bad..but make sure fans are coming on first..let me know
